Electric Stimulation

Electric stimulation  or interferential therapy uses electric frequencies through four electrodes placed on the patient.  It reduces muscle spasms by repeated contraction and relaxation of the muscle which fatigues the muscle causing the spasm cycle to decrease.  It also increases blood circulation.  It maintains and increases range of motion to help increase flexibility and motion of the muscle.  It reeducates muscles to move like they used to.  It is very beneficial for muscle spasms and a non addictive pain treatment.
